1. Operator and scope
These terms relate to the Bidcraft application operated by the legal operator to be formally identified before launch. Verified operator contact details must be supplied before these terms are treated as publication-ready. The current release is a tender-search and proposal-preparation tool. It does not file bids, verify official supplier records or act for procuring entities.
2. Informational software, not professional advice
Tender listings, deadlines, suggested wording, AI assessments, grades, and review indicators are supplied to help you organise your work. They are not financial, legal, tax or professional procurement advice; are not government certification; and are not a promise of tender eligibility, compliance, acceptance, award, funding, or earnings.
3. Your responsibilities
- Check each original tender notice, briefing requirement, addendum, evaluation criteria and closing time directly with the procuring entity.
- Verify your company’s eligibility, CSD registration, tax status, B-BBEE documentation, credentials, pricing and bid declarations where relevant.
- Review and authorise all AI-produced text, source citations, evidence and commitments before reuse.
- Maintain independent backups and submit the complete bid through the official channel before the official deadline.
- Only upload documents or personal information where you have the right and lawful basis to do so; comply with confidentiality and POPIA obligations.
4. Source availability and no government affiliation
Bidcraft is independent and is not affiliated with, approved by or endorsed by National Treasury or any municipality. Data originates from third-party public notices which can be incomplete, delayed, modified or withdrawn. Cached results are not real-time monitoring. See data sources and reliability.
5. AI and data processing
AI features depend on the deployment’s Google Gemini configuration, third-party availability and network access. Outputs may omit requirements or produce incorrect suggestions. When invoked, content is transferred to external processing services, potentially outside South Africa. Read the AI disclosure and privacy notice before using them.
6. Storage, accounts and notifications
This release stores most working data in browser-local storage and has no authenticated cloud collaboration, automatic backup or cross-device synchronisation. Saved deadlines and calendar downloads are not a continuously monitored alert service. A downloaded calendar file is managed by the calendar application you choose. Bidcraft is not responsible for a calendar app’s alert delivery.
7. Your content and acceptable use
You retain responsibility for your proposals and the material you choose to submit. You permit only the technical processing needed to provide requested features and may not upload content you lack rights to disclose, deliberately attempt unauthorised system access, misuse the service or misrepresent AI-generated material as independently certified.
8. Service changes and availability
Features, upstream data access and AI functionality may change or become unavailable. Availability, uninterrupted access, complete document extraction, and error-free outputs are not guaranteed. Export your work regularly.
9. Liability and statutory rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Bidcraft’s operator does not promise to reimburse losses arising from missed tenders, rejected bids, inaccurate third-party data, AI output, interruptions or lost browser data. This clause does not exclude liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act, POPIA or other applicable law, including any liability for gross negligence where exclusion is prohibited. No blanket waiver of statutory remedies is intended. Professional legal review is required before commercial launch.
10. Governing law and changes
These terms are intended to operate under South African law, subject to mandatory rights and jurisdiction rules. Changes will be reflected in the published terms with an updated effective date. Contact details and any commercial pricing, cancellation or refunds policy must be completed before sales or subscriptions are offered.
